We launched Texas Hill Country Provisions (THC Provisions) in early 2020 with a plan to make quality products that represent the most unique and magical aspects of our beloved home state. We started with high quality Texas-inspired apparel, and in early 2023 we launched ‘Chill Country Cannabis’ with a line of organic full-spectrum cannabis edibles.

Chill Country is rapidly becoming the premiere cannabis brand of Texas, and we’re looking for exceptional sales people to help grow our network of retail partners.

Job Description

We are seeking a positive, highly motivated individual to join our sales team and show passion for our brand we are building. As a Sales Representative at THC Provisions, you’ll directly engage with potential retail partners to introduce them to our products and educate them on the incredible opportunity to sell hemp-derived products in Texas. 

Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and clean driving record. This is a remote position that may require meetings & sales training in person during the initial training period, as determined by the Director of Sales. A passion for Texas and all things Texas is not a requirement, but definitely is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with prospective retail partners through efficient prospecting methods
  • Grow THC Provisions revenue and brand awareness, by partnering with new & existing retailers
  • Follow a structured sales funnel process, from initial outreach to closing deals and managing client accounts
  • Utilize the provided sales support resources, including welcome packets and trial packs, to enhance sales efforts
  • Participate in training and sales support activities to ensure up-to-date knowledge of products and sales strategies
  • Follow the directives and initiatives set forth by the sales leadership, including THC Provisions founders and Director of Sales
  • Manage and grow your book of business, ensuring satisfaction and repeat orders from clients

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to embody these principles daily.


Our compensation package is designed to reward those who thrive on responsibility and results. It includes:

  • Base Salary: Competitive, determined on a case-by-case basis
  • Commissions: % of net sales from your book of business, with the potential for this commission to scale as your account portfolio grows. This commission structure is designed to reward ongoing account management and sales success.
  • Potential equity after a successful ramping period


  • Outbound cold calling sales experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a related field (health and wellness, retail, or FMCG).
  • Proven ability to set goals & meet/exceed them.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently while being a cooperative member of a broader sales team.
  • Passion for the THC Provisions brand and a genuine interest in the benefits of organic, hemp-derived products.
